Almost all Hobie kayaks are propelled using a unique, fully adjustable, pedal system – paddles are not required** but supplied – leaving your hands free for photography, fishing or just relaxing as your naturally much stronger legs do the work for you allowing you to go further and with less effort to get the most out of your experience. They're fast stable and even sail-able - you'll never look at another kayak again!

Although pictured in sketches from Captain Cook with locals SUPing and surf SUPing in Hawaii, the new-to-the-mainstream sport of Stand Up Paddleing (SUPing) is sweeping the world - and for good reason. Easy and great fun for beginners to experts alike, these "over-sized surfboards" are the jack-of-all-trades of the watersport world, exploring the Harbour or lakes, fishing off them, running whitewater rivers or taking on the surf - one board can do it all - and we have the best! Hobie - the father of the modern surfboad with 60+ years experience are available right here in Sooke from us to rent for an hour or two, or buy new!

We are also Sooke bike rental location. Working closly with our friends at Sooke Mountain Cycle, we have a range of MTB bikes to explore the Galloping Goose and beyond. All sizes catered for, including an adult Trike and kids trailers and tag-a-long to explore or to get your visitors out into our stunning surroundings!
