Congratulations Kevin Burnip for being Qualifier #3 in Vancouver Island’s 100.3 The Q! The Island's Rock Kitchen: Impossible contest. Kevin writes: “well i deserve a new kitchen, but my friend who owns the house needs it more... his name is pete and he’s a single dad trying to pay a mortgage.. and having trouble finding work... i live in the basement suit, the cupboards are falling apart and the rats are running rampant, i think they started a little rat corner store behind the wall.. basically an old dilapidated kitchen that he will never fix or be able to afford to fix it... i get cheap rent because I’m his friend. i would love to spring this on him and say hey pete, i won you a new kitchen!! thank you guys for being a staple in my radio world. peace and love!” Ed Bain and The Q!
