Pet Pampering’s philosophy is that dogs are social animals and therefore need the company of other dogs. Our completely fenced acreage has large play fields for the very active dog, and lots of cozy spots for napping.

Tracy Thomsen established Pet Pampering  in Victoria BC in 1993 as a daycare and boarding facility where dogs could go to relax, hang out and make friends with like minded animals in a rural open air setting.

In the last 19 years Tracy has watched over thousands of Victoria s pets providing that all important safe heaven for a lonely and often very bored family dog.

Pet pampering offers the best of playtime for your demanding energetic canine and quiet areas for the small, elderly and nervous canine friends, catering to the needs of the individual. Our open air setting allows your dog to run free and interact with a wide variety of other dogs in a totally enclosed facility. Monitored and controlled by our dedicated and capable staff you can rest assured that your dog is in the care of dog lovers who treat each of our visitors as if they were our own.

However being an open air facility can have its downfalls, especially in the winter when the weather is less than ideal for outdoor play. So we have a purpose built 2600 square foot indoor area for those days when its just too miserable to be outside.  Heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer this indoor play area allows a dry temperature controlled space where the more tired pooch can take a nap when the need arises.

This indoor facility is also where your dog sleep when they stay overnight when boarding with us. Each animal has it’s own sleeping quarters be it a crate, an Xpen,or a kennel run to prevent disturbances when they want to sleep but others want to play.
