Meet Aaron

Living and working on Vancouver Island for all but one year of my life where my parents maintained a Summer Camp on Keats Island in the Sunshine Coast has kept me in touch with the West Coast Lifestyle. Growing up in downtown Victoria I have seen the City develop into what you see today.

At the age of thirteen I started my first job, working part time at a local comic book shop in Fan Tan Alley. When I was fourteen my parents moved to Keats Island for a year. This was a great experience but I missed the City. My parents settled back into Victoria in the Western Communities by buying a 2.5 acre property in Colwood. While living in Colwood I began commercial fishing for 4 years while going to Belmont high school. Shortly after High School Graduation I began a 10 year career in Clam and Oyster farming in Fanny Bay and on Denman Island.

As life brought me back to Victoria to be closer to my family I started working on construction sites as an in-house painter for a High-End construction company where I learned a great deal about how houses were built. Moving into real estate was an easy transition for me, knowing the city so well and being able to offer insight on the quality and costs of construction and renovations has been an asset. Working in our local real estate market is a fun and exciting job, sharing in big real estate decisions is always great.

Today my passions include a strong connection to our local food industry. As a fun hobby over the past few years I have developed and currently maintain a Food Show (Delicious) which is funded by, and plays on one of our local Television Channels. This show is a great way for me to give back to the community by helping my friends who own local business’ get positive exposure for what they offer the city.
