Bear’s Den Cafe is situated in one of Canada’s most spectacular mountainside resort developments, Bear Mountain in Victoria, BC. The cafe is located in The Village at Ponds Landing, in the space previously occupied by Mountain Bean Coffee Company. We’ve stopped by a few times to grab our morning joe and a bite to eat, so we though it was time to post about this place.

Bear’s Den is a warm and inviting coffee house with a cozy ski chalet type of feel, and offers espresso beverages, light meals and desserts. Made-to-order sandwiches are available as well as fresh baked goods. We ordered a turkey sandwich on multigrain bread with greens, tomato, cucumber, mayo and cranberry sauce. It was fantastic – super fresh and tasted homemade. Sleek white ceramic mugs held our brewed Oughtred coffee and Americano while funky spoons conveniently rested on their sides.
