Larry is the owner of Glen Lake Automotive. Back in the day, he used to belong to a car club. He was living in Manitoba but it was too cold for him there. After he finished in the Service, he moved to Victoria to work for his brother, and he has been in business here ever since for over 35 years!

He started his business in town, and then he moved out to the Westshore 25 years ago. He has been at his current location at 1098 Goldstream Avenue since 2003.

Larry loves his customers. He says they won’t let him retire…which is probly a good thing because he doesn’t know what he would do with himself.

At Glen Lake Automotive they offer “a whole gamut of services”; Tire Repairs, Brakes, Lube/Oil/Filter, Air Conditioning, Tune Ups, Exhaust work, Fuel Pumps, and, Diagnostics complete with full estimates and recommendations. They service North American and Asian models, but not much European except they do service Volkswagen. Although they do not do any diesel engine work, they do brakes, oil changes etc. on diesel vehicles.

Larry will give you a quote before work starts on your vehicle and find the best deal on your parts. If anything extra comes up he will let you know before they continue.
