At the Apple Box, We believe in the natural flavour of our freshly sourced ingredients & offer a preservative free, low sodium alternative to prepared foods.

We source; Local Produce- grown from sustainable family owned farms located on the Saanich Peninusla.

Local Meats- Hormone free, Antibiotic free & Pasture raised Beef & Poultry.

Certified Organic Grains, Beans & Spices- Ingredients which are not in season or grown locally- we choose certified organic & as close to home as possible. 

We believe the connection between our environment and the food we eat is essential to our daily lives. Southern Vancouver Island is abundant in resources; our mission is to make our local farms as readily accessible as the fast food chains growing in our community.  

Our foods are freshly frozen & available in store or at your local market;

Peppers Foods in Cadboro Bay Red Barn Market in West Saanich & Aubergine Foods in Fernwood.

Our goal is to get back to the ways of the early days... growing our own foods, eating whats local and available seasonally. Our recipes are a mixture of New & Old, some dating back to 1919 from my great grandmothers recipe book.

We aim to increase the local food supply working closely with our local farms, create jobs for local people & create nutritious foods for people in our community, making local foods affordable & accessible to everyone! Help us get back to our roots, one meal at a time.

Our menu appeals to everyone and anyone. Our portions are BIG and small... Our menu is seasonal and ever changing.
