My name is Kurt Phillips and I am the owner/manager of Guitars Plus! I think of myself as a guitar player that owns a store, not as a store owner that plays guitar which is a different thing.  I have been in love with guitars and guitar music since I was 18 years old and it is still going strong.  I previously owned a guitar store in Kelowna, B.C. from 1991 - 2007 before moving to Nanaimo. My wife and I moved to Victoria when we purchased Guitars Plus! in August 2012. I have been in the music industry as a player, band member, sideman, teacher, wholesale rep, retail sales, stage crew, roadie, live sound engineer, hobby studio and guitar repairs since 1978 so I have a large base of experience to draw from to help you find what you need.
